Apple Cake

 


3/4 c. sugar

1 egg

1-1/2 c. flour

1/2 tsp. salt

3/4 c. milk

1/4 c. soft margarine

1 tsp. vanilla

3 tsp. baking powder

2 c. chopped apples


Cream margarine, sugar, and egg. Add remaining ingredients.

Grease bottom of casserole dish. Place sliced apples in bottom with 1/2 cup sugar. Pour batter over top.

Cook at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve with milk or ice cream
