<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">A terrifying gimlet-eyed stare helped earn Emma Mohrmann’s pumpkin recognition as the scariest pumpkin of the evening.  With the lights on, the horrifying creature’s identity is apparent, an unruly mop of snakes in place of hair reveals her to be Medusa.</span></span></p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;">A bare tree and leaves blowing in the autumn wind are some of the elements that caught the judges’ attention at the Great Chronicle Jack-O’-Lantern Contest Sunday night and won the Don Sunseri award for Amy Pfeiffer.</span></span></p>
