Philip "Phil" Michael Leno , 17, of Orleans, beloved son of Paul and Elaine Leno, died suddenly Tuesday, August 24, 2004, in Westmore.
He was born on April 2, 1987, in Newport, a son of Paul and Elaine (Faust) Leno who survive him. He is also survived by a brother, Tyler Leno of Orleans, and his grandparents, Helen and Corcell Leno of Coventry, Romeo and Huguette Faust of Irasburg, and Alice Faust of Orleans.
He is also survived by several aunts and uncles: Anita and Kevin Hodgeman of Lowell, Marielle Faust of Orleans, Lucille Bessette and William Thompson of Derby Line, Debra and Richard Geoffrey of Albany, Mark and Deborah Faust of Irasburg, Peter Faust and Sandy Hussey of Irasburg, and by his aunt and godmother, Karen and Maurice Fournier of Derby.
Phil is survived by several cousins, many friends and by his cat “Little.” He enjoyed playing basketball, video games and hanging out with his friends. He was looking forward to the start of school and graduation in the spring. Phil will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
Funeral services were held at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Orleans on August 28 with the Reverend Daniel Rupp celebrating a Mass of Christian burial. Interment followed in Pleasantview Cemetery, Orleans.
